Exercise Classes

New sessions of the chair-based exercise classes have started in the Village Hall on Wednesday mornings, 11:30 – 12:30.

Ampleforth and District Historical Society

Tuesday 6th August at 7-30 pm in Ampleforth Village Hall. Lydia Telford, author, speaker and tour guide, will talk about “Medieval Marriage”. Admission £3 including refreshments. All welcome.

There are no more meetings until September. Members will have information about outings in June and July.

Just turn up wearing suitable loose clothing. All the exercises can be adapted for the less agile! The class not only makes us fitter but improves our co-ordination skills. We have a new instructor Andy Gamble – a very friendly and professional Gym Instructor fully trained in Fitness and Sports Therapy and qualified as a Level 5 Sports Injury Therapist.

A gentle exercise class suitable for beginners and people returning to exercise suitable for all fitness levels.
£5 per session paid on the day
