Ampleforth Community Support

The Parish Council in conjunction with the local Churches is setting up a Good Neighbour network to provide some local support during the Coronavirus emergency.

Ampleforth Village Stores

The Village Store is open and is taking appropriate precautions for both Customers and Staff. These include assisting Customers to keep apart by laying out a route through the store, regular sanitisation of touch points and frequent staff hand washing.

Please be patient and follow guidelines.

The store is providing a home delivery service for those self-isolating. Call 01439 788309.

WW1 Memorial Rose Garden

A rose garden is being designed at the entrance to  St. Hilda’s Church to commemorate the end of the First World War. The design is shown below. Donations towards setting up the garden are very welcome. Contact Sheila Harrison on 01439788279.
