Ryedale Plan Inspection result

Report into Examination into the Ryedale Plan – Local Plan Strategy

The Planning Inspectorate issued the final report into the Local Plan Strategy (LPS) on Wednesday, 14 August 2013, following its submission in May 2012 and hearing sessions which took place in September and October 2012 and May 2013.

The Inspector has concluded that the LPS is sound, subject to the inclusion of a schedule of main modifications which is appended to his report. On this basis, the Inspector states that the LPS “provides an appropriate basis for the planning of the District to 2027”.

Ryedale District Council will  seek to adopt the LPS on the basis of the recommendations in the Inspector’s report at a Full Council meeting.

The Millennium Green – June

Everyone is welcome to quietly enjoy the Millennium Green.  A path skirts the green and there are a few seats. If you bring a dog, please keep it on a lead and clear up after it.
